I, personally, have never found the arguments for Neo-Darwinian Evolutionary Theory especially compelling, namely because there seems to be so many instances of equivocation in what exactly is going on. These points have not been overlooked by those who have thought through the issues, such as mathematician David Berlinski and biochemist Michael Denton.
The Discovery Institute, on its podcast ID the Future recently broadcast a dialogue between these two critics of Neo-Darwinian Theory.
The first part can be heard here.
The second here.
And the third here.
I found these discussions to be both insightful and informative as to where the issues stand and where the weaknesses actually are.
